How do morning-after hail alerts work?
The morning after a storm, you get one alert per property that took estimated hail, plus a digest.
The morning after a storm day, we check every address you monitor against the radar's hail estimate for that day. Each address that took hail at or above your threshold gets an alert, and your workspace gets one digest that lists the properties hit, largest first, with a link to the storm map on that day.
Turning it on. Storm Data Unlimited, then Settings, then Weather Alerts. Turn on the Hail alert type and set the minimum size. Choose what to monitor: your workspace locations, active projects, and open opportunities. Pick who is notified and on which channels.
Territory. If a storm crosses your territory (a radius around your locations) but none of your properties are in it, you still get a digest saying so.
Automations. Every alert also fires the Weather alert fired trigger with the source set to "Observed by radar" and the estimated size, so you can start a sequence, create a task, or notify a rep automatically.
Timing. Alerts arrive around 7:30 a.m. Central, once the radar archive for the previous day is complete.
Each alerted address also carries its own hail history, so you can see whether this is the property's first hit or another one on top of an older storm.
