How do I transfer workspace ownership to someone else?
Hand the workspace owner role to another teammate. Only the current owner can do this.
The workspace owner is the one account that can manage billing, transfer ownership, or delete the workspace. To hand it over, open Settings → Team and scroll to the "Transfer ownership" card at the bottom of the page (only visible to the current owner). Click "Transfer," pick the team member who should become the new owner from the dropdown, and click "Confirm transfer."
The new owner inherits billing access and your role drops to Admin. Transfer is instant and cannot be reversed by the previous owner, only by the new one transferring it back. If the current owner has left the company and can no longer sign in, contact support and we'll verify and re-assign.
