How do I tag project photos?

Photo tags are a workspace-wide list you set up once under Settings; anyone can then apply them to photos and filter a project's gallery by tag.

Set up the tags once, then apply them from any project's Photos tab. The tag list is shared by every project in your workspace, so a tag means the same thing everywhere.

Setting up the list

Go to Settings, then Workspace, then Projects, and find the Photo tags section. Add a tag by typing its name, or rename one in place. Changes save as you make them. Editing the list needs the Manage workspace settings permission.

If two tags mean the same thing, merge them: every photo carrying the tag you merge away moves onto the tag that stays, and the duplicate is removed.

Applying tags

On a project's Photos tab, open a photo and pick tags, or select several photos and tag them together from the bulk actions menu. You can also choose tags while uploading. Any member who can see the project can tag its photos.

Using tags

Filter a project's gallery by one tag or several, matching any of them or all of them. When you build a photo report, the photo picker offers the same filters, and each photo's tags can print under it in the report.
