How do I create and send an estimate?
Build a line-item estimate and email it to a contact for review.
Open the opportunity (or project) you want to estimate and click "New estimate." Pick items from your catalog or type them in by hand, with quantity, unit price, and an optional markup or discount per line. Group line items into sections (Materials, Labor, etc.) so the customer sees a tidy breakdown.
Click "Preview" to see exactly what the customer will receive, then "Send." Pick a delivery email, customize the subject and body, and hit send. The customer gets a link to view the estimate online; you'll be notified when they open it and when they approve.
