How do I set up contact, contractor, and vendor types?
Categorize the people in your CRM so reports and filters reflect how your business actually works.
Open Settings → Workspace and pick one of Contact Types, Contractor Types, or Vendor Types. Add the categories you use (Homeowner, Property Manager, Realtor, GC, Roofer, Insurance Adjuster, Supplier, and so on), reorder them, or remove the ones you don't need.
The right type shows up as a dropdown when you create a new contact, contractor, or vendor. They drive filters on the list views, color-coded badges on the contact card, and reporting groupings.
