How do mail campaigns work?
A mail campaign sends a series of direct mail postcards or letters on a schedule. Each step is priced before you activate it, and charged shortly before it sends.
A mail campaign sends a series of pieces to the same recipients on a schedule, such as a postcard now and a letter three weeks later. You choose the recipients and the start time, review the price of every step, and activate it.
Build it. Under Campaigns > Mailers, choose New campaign. Add a step for each piece, pick its template, and set how many days after the previous step it goes out.
Choose recipients. Search for contacts and add them. Contacts without a complete mailing address are left out.
Review and activate. Pick the start time, prepare a quote for each step, and approve the price. Activating the campaign authorizes Coastline to charge your card for each step shortly before it sends.
Adding people later. Contacts added after the campaign starts get their own quote to approve before they receive anything.
To stop a batch that hasn't gone to print, open the campaign and cancel it. Anything already charged for that batch is refunded.
