Connect Google Calendar
Two-way sync keeps your Coastline events and Google Calendar in lockstep.
What you get
Connecting Google Calendar gives you two things:
- Two-way event sync. Events created in Coastline appear in Google Calendar and vice versa.
- Accurate availability. Your existing Google Calendar busy times block off your Coastline booking page so customers can only schedule when you are actually free.
Connect your calendar
- Go to Settings → Account → Calendar.
- Click Connect Google Calendar.
- Sign in to your Google account and grant calendar access.
Once connected, the status shows your primary calendar name. Coastline syncs your primary Google Calendar only.
Booking page availability
After connecting, your booking page reads your Google Calendar in real time. If you have a dentist appointment at 2 PM on Tuesday, that slot is automatically blocked. No manual updates needed.
Things to know
- Calendar sync is separate from Gmail. You can connect one without the other.
- Coastline writes back to your primary Google Calendar. Events created in other calendars (shared team calendars, subscribed calendars) are read for availability but not written to.
- Deleting an event in Coastline removes it from Google Calendar and vice versa.
- If you connect Google Calendar and also want Google Meet on your booking links, go to Settings → Booking → Meeting location and select Google Meet.
