Connect Outlook
Connect your Microsoft or Outlook inbox to send and receive email inside Coastline.
What you get
Connecting Outlook brings your inbox into Coastline and links incoming and outgoing threads to the right contacts and projects automatically.
Works with:
- Microsoft 365 (work and school accounts)
- Outlook.com (personal Microsoft accounts)
Connect your account
- Go to Settings → Account → Email & Inbox.
- Click Connect email account.
- Choose Outlook and sign in to your Microsoft account.
- Approve the permission request. Coastline asks for read and send access only; it never stores your password.
Your inbox appears under the Email tab in the sidebar.
Sending email
Compose from the Email tab or from any contact, opportunity, or project. Replies land in your Outlook inbox and sync back to Coastline.
Things to know
- Only one email account can be connected per workspace member. Disconnect the current one first before switching.
- If your organization requires admin approval for third-party app access, ask your IT administrator to approve Coastline in the Microsoft Entra admin center.
- Calendar sync (availability, meeting invites) requires connecting your Outlook calendar separately under Settings → Account → Calendar. The same Microsoft account is used for both.
