Map View
See your contacts, projects, and jobs on a live map built into Coastline.
What you get
The Map tab in the sidebar plots every contact and project that has a street address on an interactive map. Use it to plan field visits, check job density in a neighborhood, or find a contact near your current location.
Open the map
Click Map in the left sidebar. All contacts and projects with valid addresses load as pins automatically.
There is nothing to connect or configure. The map is available to all workspace members.
Using the map
- Click a pin to open a card with the contact or project name, address, and a direct link to the detail page.
- Filter by type using the toggle at the top of the map to show Contacts, Projects, or both.
- Search the map using the search bar to jump to a specific address or zip code.
Route planning
Select multiple pins and use the Plan route button to open the selected addresses in Google Maps for turn-by-turn directions.
Things to know
- Only records with a complete street address appear as pins. Records with a city but no street address, or no address at all, are not plotted.
- The map does not update in real time as you move. Pull down to refresh if you have recently added records.
- Map data and satellite imagery are provided by Google Maps.
