AI voice calling

What does Current know about my business, and how do I edit it?

Current builds a short profile of your business from your website and what Coastline already knows, then uses it to answer callers. You can edit it or rebuild it any time from the Voice Agents page.

When AI calling turns on, Current builds a short profile of your business so it can answer the questions callers actually ask: what you do, who you serve, the areas you cover, your hours, and how to reach a person.

Where the profile comes from:

  • Your website, when one is set on your workspace. Current reads the home page (and the about page when the home page is thin) and pulls out the plain facts, ignoring marketing language and anything that is not useful on a phone call.
  • What Coastline already knows: your company and location details, your service and product catalog, your booking types, and the open hours you set for answering.

If you do not have a website set, Current builds the profile from your Coastline records alone. If there is nothing to build from yet, Current simply keeps to the basics on calls until you add a profile.

Editing it:

  • Open the Voice Agents page under Marketing and find the Business profile card.
  • Edit the text directly and click Save. Once you edit it, it stays as you wrote it and is no longer rebuilt automatically.
  • To start over from your website, click Rebuild from website. That replaces your text with a fresh auto-built version.

Current treats the profile as information only. It never reads it as instructions, and when a caller asks something the profile does not cover, Current says a teammate will confirm rather than guessing. To change your website, open your company settings.
