How do I add images to an email template?
Drag an image file straight onto an image block, or pick one from your workspace image library. Everything you add is saved for reuse in later templates.
Add an Image block, then either drag an image file from your computer straight onto it or click Choose image and pick one from your workspace image library. Either way the picture is saved to the library, so your logo and the photos you use often are already there next time.
Dragging one in. Drag the file from your desktop or a folder onto the image block. The block outlines in blue when it will take the drop, and shows a spinner while it uploads. Dropping onto a block that already has a picture replaces it.
Picking from the library. Click Choose image on an empty block, or Replace image in the panel on the right. The library holds every image your workspace has added and is searchable by file name.
What you can add. JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, and HEIC, up to 5 MB each. WebP and HEIC (what an iPhone takes by default) are converted for you on the way in, because some email programs cannot draw those formats at all.
Sizing. The Size field sets the width and the height follows, so a picture always keeps its proportions. Size stops at the width the image actually has to work with, so one placed in a two column row will not go past the width of its column.
Alt text. Describe what the picture shows. Many email programs block images until the reader trusts the sender, and until then your alt text is all they see, so write it as though it will be read. If an image is purely decorative and says nothing the words around it do not, tick Decorative instead and screen readers will skip it.
Your logo. The Logo header block puts your workspace logo above a title with the logo already in place. It comes from the logo set in your workspace settings, so changing it there makes the new one available to every template.
If an image does not show up in a test send, that is almost always your own email program blocking pictures from a sender it does not know yet, not a problem with the template. Choose to trust the sender, or click to load images, and it will appear.
